Terms of Service

Welcome to Yanyja. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Yanyja platform (yanyja.com), operated by Yarra Systems Pty Ltd (ABN: 20 698 366 531), trading as Yanyja (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. User Roles

Our platform serves three distinct user roles:

  • Providers: Businesses offering services and managing their availability.
  • Resources: Staff members or individuals providing the services on behalf of a Provider.
  • Customers: Individuals booking services with Providers.

2. General Terms for All Users

  • Account Security: You access your account via a passwordless One-Time Password (OTP) system. You are responsible for maintaining access to your registered email account.
  • Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious code, or to disrupt the platform’s integrity.
  • Communications: The 3-way Booking Feed must be used professionally. Abusive or harassing language will result in account termination.

3. Terms for Providers

  • Business Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring your business details, availability, and service descriptions are accurate.
  • Public Address & Naming: When you set up a public booking page you choose a unique web address (e.g. yanyja.com/your-business) and display name. Certain words are reserved for platform, system, or future use and cannot be selected. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, reclaim, or require you to change any address or name that we reasonably consider misleading, that impersonates Yanyja or another person or business, that infringes a trademark or other right, or that is unlawful, offensive, or abusive. Where practical we will give you reasonable notice before making such a change.
  • Verification: Requesting “Verified by Yanyja” status requires submitting accurate business documentation. We reserve the right to approve or reject verification requests at our sole discretion.
  • Bookings and Cancellations: You are responsible for fulfilling confirmed bookings. While emergency leave features allow for auto-cancellation, abuse of this feature may impact your standing on the platform.
  • Subscription/Payments: During this early access period, core features are offered free of charge. If and when paid tiers are introduced, we will notify you with at least 14 days’ advance notice to your registered email address before any charges apply.

4. Terms for Resources

  • Account Usage: You agree to manage your availability overrides accurately and communicate promptly regarding any inability to fulfil assigned bookings.
  • Relationship: Your relationship is with the Provider who invited you. Yanyja is not your employer.

5. Terms for Customers

  • Booking Commitments: By confirming a booking, you commit to attending at the agreed time.
  • Cancellations: If you must cancel, please do so via the platform as early as possible out of respect for the Provider’s time.

6. Limitation of Liability

Yanyja provides the platform “as is” and “as available”. We are not responsible for the quality of services provided by Providers or any disputes arising between Customers and Providers. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Australian law.

7. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes — including any that affect pricing, data use, or your core rights — we will notify you by email to your registered address at least 14 days before the change takes effect. For non-material changes (such as clarifications or corrections), we will update the “Last Updated” date and post a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
