Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 2 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Yanyja (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our platform (yanyja.com and its subdomains). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
2. How does Yanyja use cookies?
Yanyja is built with a focus on privacy and minimalism. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking, advertising, or selling your data to third parties. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function securely.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for you to browse the platform and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the platform (like your dashboard or making a booking).
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
yanyja_session | Yanyja | Authentication & Security. This is an HttpOnly cookie used to maintain your login session after you verify your One-Time Password (OTP). It securely identifies your account as you navigate between pages. It cannot be accessed by JavaScript. | 7 Days (Sliding Window - resets on activity) |
| Bot protection | Our bot-protection provider | Bot Protection & Security. Yanyja uses a bot-protection service to guard our OTP endpoints from bots and malicious attacks. It is a CAPTCHA-style widget that issues a short-lived form token which is verified server-side. It sets no persistent browser cookie. | None — no cookie is set |
yj-dc | Yanyja | Device layout pin. Records whether your browser is mobile or desktop to deliver the correct page layout. Contains no personal data. | 30 Days |
3. What about Third-Party Analytics and Advertising?
Yanyja does not employ third-party advertising trackers (such as Facebook Pixel) or invasive analytics scripts. If this practice changes, we will update this policy and provide notice before any such change takes effect.
4. How can I control cookies?
Because the yanyja_session cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function (it is how you log in and make bookings without a password), you cannot opt out of this cookie through the platform.
If you wish to remove it, you can log out of your Yanyja account or clear your browser’s cookies through your browser settings. However, doing so will require you to request a new OTP to log back in.
5. Contact Us
