One owner said it plainly when her booking tool started taking 20% on clients she’d brought in herself: “This is absolutely disgusting.” Another platform charges $295 to export your own client list when you leave. Three-year contracts. Per-staff pricing that climbs every time you hire. Support in a timezone that isn’t yours.

So we’re building Yanyja: booking and business software for salons and spas, made in Melbourne. Clients book on a page they reach in two taps — no app, no password. You run the day from one shared booking feed. And you keep 100% of your clients, with no marketplace and no commission — your data exports free, month to month, because it’s yours.
